Planning

• The Hyde Park City Planning Commission will be holding 2 public hearings on August 7 at 7:00 pm at the city building to discuss an updated Zoning Map and Future Land Use Map. The new maps will be added to the Hyde Park City General Plan after the public meeting and city council approval. Major changes to the zoning include but are not limited to new zoning designations for public and open spaces, an updated zone for the core part of town (Residential Core Zone), removing large sections of the old R-1 zone and replacing it with the updated R-2 (formerly RE-20), high density areas near Wolf Pack Way, and more.  Paper copies will be available in the city office. Any comments can be expressed at the public hearing on August 7, or via email to cityoffice@hydeparkcity.org
